Will the use of STM-3 void warranties?
No! STM-3 does NOT treat the oil or fluid into which it is introduced.
STM-3 treats metal only. It does not affect, in a positive or negative way, any type of seal material.
STM-3 does not affect warranties because it does not mix with the oil, or affect the pH, or blend package of any lubrication fluid into which it is introduced.

Does STM-3 wear out?
No! STM-3 does not wear out. As STM-3 is a true metal treatment, once the penetration into the metals surface has occurred, you would have to remove the metal itself to remove the STM-3 treatment.
Does STM-3 replace existing oil or grease volume?
No! Unlike additives, STM-3 does not change the lubricant base, because STM-3 is a metal treatment. Most anti-friction additives change the oil, thereby altering the delicate formulation of the oil or lubricant. When a petroleum based oil additives replace or alter the oil with which the engine is designed to operate, the additive package pH and suspension agent of the oil may be altered. When the pH is wrong, the %u201Cadditive package%u201D is out of balance and can cause acidic buildup and corrosiveness. STM-3 does not change the properties of your lubricants .
At what point does STM-3 break down under heat?
STM-3 does not break down under heat. STM-3 is not a lubricant or an additive that is affected by heat. STM-3 is a metal treatment that is absorbed into the metal and uses oil, lubricant, or grease only to carry it to the metal. In one application, STM-3 will remain stable in excess of temperatures of 2420░F.
How does STM-3 work?
STM-3 Nano-molecules will bind with carbon chains to form Ceramic , within the metal sub-surface, once fully cured cerma yields a glass smooth sealed surface, eliminating surface flaws within the metals mating surfaces.
The surface boundary layers formed by STM-3 have a sub micron molecular structure with characteristics that ensure extremely low levels of boundary friction between the surfaces.
STM-3 is formulated with a "Surface Tension Modifier" That will reduce Temperature, Pressure, and Friction between moving surfaces (boundary friction and wear). When the temperature is altered up or down and/or the pressure or friction is increased,STM-3, activates a succession of chemical reactions with carbon acids and H2O to reduce surface tension, this feature is Cerma's patent pending advantage over all other products sold today.
STM-3 Nano molecules are non-petroleum based ions with an extremely high affinity towards the metal surfaces
STM-3 molecules are <0.001Ám and are therefore able to penetrate gum and varnish residual buildup on surfaces without the use of solvents. Once STM-3 molecules penetrate these surfaces, metal%u2019s micro-pores. Once bonded the surface, a cerma treated engine/equipment no longer has the cracks, pores for the gum/varnish particulate to latch onto, once STM-3 has reached the metal surface after penetrating the varnish build up it forms a ceramic shield that protects the metal, once set STM-3 releases the varnish and carbon build up back into the lubricant stream to be cleaned by the inline filtration system.

How long does STM-3 take to work?
STM-3 when introduced to the lubrication stream will start to work within minutes, Reducing harmonic vibrations, then reducing heat. Although you will see & feel immediate results! STM-3 will take up to 3 months before it has completed it's final curing of ceramic. In some cases STM-3 will provide Fuel savings within an engine, This process can take 5-min. & up to 90 days to become fully cured, depending on the amount of lacquers your engine has built up over the years of use. (STM-3 products do not use solvents, STM-3 relies on the Nano particle size to penetrate the lacquer build up, releasing the carbon & laquar buildup into the oil stream to be filtered out)
Will cerma stop oil burning within my engine?
Yes, In most cases STM-3 will reduce or stop oil burning completely.
Note: STM-3 will not fix Broken. Although it has been found that things we think are broken are really just coated heavily with lacquers from the oil oxidizing and once the lacquers are removed the part works as intended.

Do I have to add additional STM-3?
Never, STM-3 is a one time metal treatment . Once it sets the ceramic into the metal, it's done! STM-3 makes a OIL conditioner called Nano ! Don't confuse the two products, Nano is a true OIL treatment (mixes with the oil to promote better fuel economy) Optional oil treatment for use only! after equipment has been treated with STM-3 METAL conditioner. ( Nano is added when changing oil, to enhance fuel economy ) (( OPTIONAL )) STM-3 is a true METAL conditioner (does not mix with oil, just uses oil to carry it to the metal) ONE TIME TREATMENT !
NOTE: In combustion engines, you do not have to add additional STM-3. STM-3 is not an additive but a metal treatment. The STM-3 is already in the metal and does not have to be replaced ever !
